With the Classic having been played the previous day, it was fairly predictable that the numbers playing would be down. Even so, playing into a stiff breeze, it didn’t deter Jerry, our former Captain from posting a great score, consisting off 6 pars and a birdie to edge out John Diver.

It’s worthy off note that Cathal Óg covered the course in 2 under Gross to finish in third place. Excellent shooting Cathal! Mar is gnáth, buíochas mór da Cassidy’s Chemist as a bheith go fláithiúil.

As mentioned above the Pobal Scoil Classic took place on Saturday with 26 teams taking part.

The team consisting of James Sweeney, Odhrán Mac Niallais, Christopher Mac Fadden and Cathal Mulligan took top honours with a great score off 108 pts. Maith sibh!
