With the good weather continuing the numbers playing are on the increase and the scores are up and up as well. This week was no different from previous ones as with a good run on the ball huge scores are being carded. 22 competitiors came in with scores of even par or better.

Gordon Linton who hits it long off the tee carded a great score off 44pts to win on a break of tie. Well done Gordon and also Neil Ferry who had a similar score. This is the 2nd consecutive week b.o.t. had to be used.

Next weekend’s Competition is a Comórtas Club.

Our 1st Major is upon us with Aisling, our Uachtarán, having her big day this Saturday, 17th June ,for the men.The time slots are practically gone.The ladies will have their day this Wednesday, 14th June,and we wish them well and hopefully the weather stays kind to all competitiors on both days.

Our Donegal League Team had a great win against Redcastle Golf Club on Saturday in Magheragallon with a comprehensive score off 5- 0 in the 1st leg.With Gaoth Dobhair being 19 holes up as well,Redcastle conceded the 2nd Leg and Gaoth Dobhair are through to the next round where they will play Letterkenny or Ballybofey/Stranorlar.

Feature off the match was Seán Sweeney’s 2 consecutive Eagles at the 7th and 8th.!!
