Buíochas mór dár urraitheoir Angus ar gcaptaen Philip McBride.
With beautiful conditions on the links, there is more than the temperature rising in Magheragallon these days.
42pts doesn’t get a mention, and 45 pts squeezes through for 1st place on a break of tie!!
The man that came out on top was Liam Mc Fadden, who has joined the club in recent years as a beginner & has really put in the work to finally get his maiden win, with a brilliant score of 45 pts. Just in time for major season!
Maith thú Liam.
Danny Ferry who is playing very consistently, will feel hard done by with such a score as well and Andy Carr, last week’s winner, posting a score that would win most times, getting 3rd place.
Next weekend’s competition is sponsored by Michael Curran Groundworks, and the format will be Stableford.
Michael, by the way, posted a great score of 40 pts on the Old Tom Morris course in Rosapenna last weekend – no mean feat. Maith thú.
Torthaí Seniors.
(1) Danny Ferry 40pts
Cat.0 – 22, Con Friel 30 pts
(3) James Tiger Sweeney 38 pts.
Maith thú Danny, who is featuring regularly on both seniors and the main competitions and could be a good bet for Lá An Uachtaráin, Aisling Mhic Cumhaill.
Nice to see Tiger back after a spell out of golf.
